With the state approval, the “Silk Road International Film Festival” has been alternately hosted by Fujian and Shaanxi since 2014, as a global event of cultural exchanges under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

The 10th Silk Road International Film Festival sponsored by the China Media Group, the Fujian Provincial People's Government and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government will grandly kick off in Fuzhou, Fujian Province in September 2023, with the Fuzhou Film Festival Co., Ltd. in charge of its implementation. The festival will stay focused on seven primary sections, consisting of such events as the "Golden Silk Road Award" Competition, Launching Ceremony, Film Screening, Film Forum, Film Market, Film Carnival and the Awards Ceremony. We cordially invite the film works, film stars with international influence, professional filmmakers and representatives of filmrelated institutions to the festival, so as to reinforce the exchanges among film workers from all around the world, push the refinement of film art, and jointly witness the glorious moment of the film industry.
